| I qualified at the Central
London College of Reflexology (CLCR),
one of the longest established reflexology schools in the UK,
and am a member of the Association of Reflexology (AOR), our
national governing body.
I am certified in Pre-conceptual, Maternity and Post-natal
care, and am certified in Birth to Puberty
reflexology.
I first discovered reflexology ten years ago after I dislocated
my shoulder in a car accident. During my recovery period,
I developed severe neck and shoulder aches as well as continued
discomfort down my right arm due to torn ligaments. The pain
subsequently brought on continued disrupted sleep patterns,
fatigue and headaches. Having experimented with a number of
different therapies, I tried reflexology. I completed a course
of six treatments over a period of six weeks and the tension
in my shoulder, neck and arm was significantly reduced.
For the last ten years, I have worked in Public Relations
specialising in luxury champagne brands in London to heading
up a department within a five star hotel in Hong Kong. Having
enjoyed my various roles within the PR field, I realised I
wanted a more rewarding career in a profession that I could
personally benefit from - and what better way to do that than
train as a reflexologist.
I live in Parsons Green, London, with my husband and I practice
from home in a peaceful and quiet treatment room. I also visit
clients in their own home as well as do hospital and care
home visits.
